Myopia (nearsightedness) is a condition in which distance vision is blurred. It is usually caused by a combination of the eye being too long front to back or the front corneal surface refraction to strongly. Thus, the light focuses in front of the retina and the distance object is blurred. People with myopia often have to squint to see more clearly.
